Born to a Swiss Father an English Mother in the 70’ies, I grew up in Switzerland traveling a lot to the UK.

I modeled in Paris for two years and travelled to Milan, Tokyo, LA and Sydney. After having enough of being on the road I built my base in Paris doing the PR and sales for one brand and then working at a buying office with clients such as the San Francisco MoMA, Design Within Reach, Francis Ford Coppola amongst other. I then moved to Tokyo with her husband where I now live with my two children.

Being immersed from a young age in a culture where respect of nature, use of natural resources and all individual initiatives are welcome I now translates it into my choices of material and ways of manufacturing.

Like all girls I like shopping, especially for my children and their little friends’. This is why I decided to launch my own kids select shop ‘Abi Loves…’ offering a selection of organic, fair trade and fashionable brands, as well as my original brand ‘Eliza J. fair trade and Made in Japan.

年スイス生まれ。父はスイス人、母はイギリス人。

子供の頃は冬になるとスイスのツェルマットでスキーをしたり、夏休みはイタリアやギリシャ、南仏で過ごすなど、たくさんの自然に囲まれて育ちました。

スイスの作家、ハンス・タグウオルダーの孫娘として生まれ、幼少時から想像したりものを書いたりする才能を育てられました。

パリ生活をスタートした後、大手のモデルエージェンシーで２年間、ミラノ、東京、シドニーなどを拠点にモデルとしてたくさんのショーやファッション撮影を経験。

その後、ランジェリーデザイナーもとでプレスとして働いたり、パリの有名な商社でフランス製商品を海外へ輸出する仕事に携わりました。

2003年から夫と2人の子供と共に東京で暮らしています。

家族のために、庭でオーガニックのハーブを育てたり、農家から直接新鮮なお米やフルーツ、野菜などをお取り寄せして、手作りのジャムを作ったり、家事には地球に優しいエコロジカルな洗剤を使っています。

お料理、特に人をおもてなしするのが好きなので、2007・2008年には夫が経営するファッションコンサルティングの会社で、ケータリングの仕事も手がけました。

できるだけオーガニックの食材を使い、ゲストの方々に喜んでもらえるようなおいしくてヘルシーなものを、そして自宅のパーティーに呼ぶようなリラックスした雰囲気を作るため、お花やキャンドルをアレンジし、エッセンシャルオイルで素敵な香りを演出します。

もちろんファッションもショッピングも大好き！特に子供たちやお友達のためのバースデーギフトを探すのが大好き。

これがきっかけで、2009年春に、キッズのためのウェブセレクトショップ、‘Abi Loves…’を立ち上げることになりました。
