After a wonderful Saturday afternoon at the Base Six home which was totally transformed into a family gathering place we decided that this workshop had to be one of many more to follow. Thank you to all who managed to drop by – it was lovely meeting you. The only draw back of having an online shop is that we never get to see each other and talk. So this will change in 2012. We will let you know when we will have our next event.
With my friend as our guest, accessory designer Masako Yosano – MY Accessories – we were thrilled to see all the kids getting straight to work in decorating their Christmas and New Years Eliza J. cards for their Grandparents and friends. And creating Christmassy necklaces. It was a bit like having a kids party with activities, snacks and party bags except of the cake…maybe we can include that next time and celebrate someone’s birthday? Lets see!
Together with fashion designer Takao Yamashita (Beauty Beast) and his beautiful model wife Chikako – Base Six together with our in house brand Eliza J. we will be looking forward to welcoming more of you faithful readers and followers to our new family gathering spot in the Base Six boutique in Yutenji Tokyo.

Base Sixでの家庭的なワークショップが実現した土曜日の午後以来、このワークショップはぜひとも続けて行きたいと思うようになりました。ご参加いただいた皆様ありがとうございましたーお会いできて嬉しかったです。オンラインショップではお客様と直接会ってお話する機会がないので2012年にはもっとこのような場を作って行きたいと思っています。次のイベントが決まり次第お知らせいたします。
アクセサリーデザイナーのマサコと一緒に子供達はツリーに飾るオーナメントを作ったり、祖父母やお友達に出すクリスマスカードを作ったりしました。ケーキこそ焼かなかったですが、おやつを食べたり遊んだり、まるでパーティーのような一日でした。次回はケーキを作って誰かのお誕生日をお祝いしても楽しそうです。
ファッションデザイナーのタカオと可愛いモデルの奥さんであるチカコのお店、祐天寺のBase SixにはAbi LovesのオリジナルブランドEliza J.の商品が置かれ、皆様のようなファミリーのお客様をおもてなしするのを楽しみにしています。
