We would like to thank Mother Dictionary – Club King to have invited Abi Loves in their weekend market. The weather was perfect for a nice family time in this charming old house in Shibuya. Nice organic food, nice workshops and various interesting shops. It was good to be there together with Mastro Geppetto – who’s wooden toys attracted many customers.
まずはMother Dictionaryへの感謝を述べたいと思います―この週末渋谷の素敵な一軒家にAbi Loves…のショップを出店することができました。家族で過ごすのにぴったりのお天気、美味しいオーガニックフード、楽しいワークショップ、様々なお 店・・・。今回はMastro Gepettoとのコラボ出店でしたが、彼らの木製おもちゃは多くの人たちを惹きつけました。
Abi Loves was quite different to the other shop stands in the way that although we offer many organic, natural products, our selection fits into our modern life style. We have new kids plates for Smiling Planet with their charming prints on – although they look like simple plastic plates they are actually made of recycled plastic, and remain recycable, as well as absolutely chemical free. A green gift for healthy modern green kids.

Our dear Tokyo style Abi-chan doll is bright with her pink hair – but she is made of organic cotton, hand crochet in a fair trade manner. Green and idealistically produced – products that are fair trade mean that the actual people making get an honorable wage. We respect people and their incredible talent to make things with their own hands. There are many more – which we will introduce to you little by little because we think it’s important to know the history of a product since on Abi Loves they are carefully selected for you, your baby, your child, the Earth.

From zid zid – we have a gorgeous bird cape and maskfor kids – entirely hand made (also made fair trade). And this year we bring you exclusively ‘Audrey’s’ “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” dress ready for you to order with us. Audrey Hepburn’s dress is made of lovely soft black linen. Poor her, she broke her pearl necklace, her make up is smudged, her croissant is moldy – she is ready for spooky Halloween!

French married to a Japanese intellectual, living in Tokyo, mother of a beautiful six year old girl, illustrator of a child book and various publishing, artist with huge life size paintings…she is going to be part of Abi Loves from now on – with a new dress every month for you to order – please allow one to two weeks for production. We like to bring you exclusive items which will make your girl look as individual as she really is.
